The Children's Garden
A programme of events to celebrate Five years of the children's garden
Hillhead Children's Garden is in The Botanic Gardens, Queen Margaret Drive, G12. You will find it next to the Play Area.
What is it? -
Hillhead Children's Garden is for kids to find out that growing fruit, vegetables and salad is fun and the stuff tastes good.
How does it work?- Children plant seeds, water, grow on and harvest the plants. We also do sports and arts activities. Kids are supervised by adults but this space is kid's space. Children must be accompanied by adults.
Who is it for? - For children and their families from Hillhead area or those visiting. It is also available to be booked for school and children's groups, to do activities.
Sing and Sign Classes for Babies
Partick Burgh Hall again, on Thursday at 2-3pm starting on 18 September, 2008
The original UK baby signing programme. Help your baby to communicate before speech with our award winning music programme which combines action songs, rhymes and gestures derived from sign language. The use of puppets, props and musical intruments make our classes an exciting journey of discovery and learning that you and your baby will look forward to every week. It's fun and easy! Join the Power Pushers on the Nurturer Programme for New Mums
- A one hour Walk and Tone session (with baby in the buggy) - through Kelvingrove Park.

Merry Melodies - Children's Colourstrings Music Classes
Part of the Colourstrings International Music Kindergarten and run by a trained Colourstrings teacher, Merry Melodies offers a fun introduction to music for babies aged 4 months to children up to 5 years.
