DisComBoBuLatE presents Ireland's Greatest Living Genius: The Book Launch

Thursday 8 September 2011

8:00pm

Adult: £3.00

Venue: CCA 5, Sauchiehall Street

Ages: all

The £3 entrance fee will be deducted from the cost of the book.

Ian Macpherson has just spent 15 years editing legendary poet Fiachra MacFiach's memoir, The Autobiography Of Ireland's Greatest Living Genius.

The Everlasting Book Launch is a unique literary event: Macpherson and special guests read from MacFiach's memoir, and try to divert the audience while they await the arrival of the famously reclusive author.

But will they manage to hold audience attention for an hour of high culture? Can they persuade someone to read MacFiach's Heaneyesque poem about his mother's plump plunger with the required gravitas? And will The Great Man arrive before the evening is up?
