The Great Scottish Walk Glasgow
The first Glasgow Great Scottish Walk will be held on 25th May - Bellahouston Park.
Established as one of Scotland's premier fundraising events, since their launch in Edinburgh in 1998, The Great Scottish Walks will now include a walk in Glasgow. Starting at 11.00am from Palace of Art, Bellahouston Park.

The routes (1, 6 or 12 miles) are designed to take in the cities leafiest parks scenery and this is the first time that a walk will take place in the city that enables residents and visitors to the city alike to walk all five of the cities great parks.
Along the way walkers and supporters will be treated to entertainment along the route and when they reach the finishing line they are greeted with a carnival atmosphere in the form of vibrant music from samba bands and the announcement and cheering of entrants across the finishing line.
The routes are now available at www.greatscottishwalk.com to view. Parks included in the route are Pollok Country Park, Bellahouston Park, Queen's Park, Maxwell Park and Newlands Park.
Entry
Entry to the walks costs £10 for adults and £8 for children under 18 years. Walkers completing the course will receive a goody bag along with a medal and certificate.
