I was having a look at this G81 Festival that I found through Myspace, I haven't seen it advertised anywhere except there so I don't know how big it is?? I have perused through the bands that are playing it and they are all unsigned from what I can tell this is a good thing as it will give them a chance to be scene but the ticket prices are a little high, also according to this page there will be FOUR top acts and I was very much looking forward to those being revealed, and I kept checking the Myspace page as the suspense was killing me, but still I haven't found any unless the top bands are the ones at the top of the poster which are, 4 Good Men, an R.E.M Tribute Band, Green Day Tribute Band, I hope I am wrong in presuming these are the top bands as Tribute Bands cannot really be counted as TOP ACTS and also I went onto the REM Tribute Bands Myspace and they have only had 322 views now that really doesn't sound like a mediocre act never mind a top act to me, but this is just my opinion I look forward to seeing the full and finished line up Cheers S

Its good to see clydebank having its own festival.THE Bands confirmed 18/6/09 may not be the biggest in names but hopefully can interest. Its a pity the headliners are not confirmed so who knows what the top acts will be. Anyone going by bus take the 62 or 40 both stop near the site clydebank train station not far away either.Enjoy the weekend . paul
