Village Inn at the foot of the Campsie Fells

This historic village inn, which dates back to 1787, has recently reopened (Spring, 2011). Situated on the old toll road over the hills to Fintry, the Swan Inn was where the toll was paid. Nowadays it offers a warm welcome to locals, families and visitors on a day out.

Only ten miles from Glasgow (about 25 minute run from the West End) it's an ideal spot to stop for lunch or dinner if you fancy a day out. There's lovely views and countryside to explore, free parking, and a regular bus service from Glasgow Buchanan Street (X85).

On offer at the Swan Inn there is an extensive selection of Wine, Beer, Real Ales, Spirits and Malts, Coffee and cakes are served all day and there is a selection of food. sample menu.

It's an ideal spot for walkers with a choice of hill walking or country woodland rambling. On winter days there's a cosy wood burning stove to welcome you and a beer garden will open this summer.

Free Wifi.

There's always a great atmosphere, fantastic food and a warm welcome at The Swan Inn Lennoxtown.
