That Good Night, GFT
11 – 17 May, 2018
In his final lead performance, the late Sir John Hurt plays Ralph, a terminally ill film director whose fortune has faded. Ralph has two objectives as he reaches the final stages of his life: to reconcile with his estranged son and to ensure that he is not a burden to his wife. Set in the stunning Algarve hilltops, That Good Night is a poignant tale of a man struggling to come to terms with his own mortality whilst attempting to rebuild fractured family relationships while he still can.
