The classic romantic musical romp is back. Gene Kelly’s dashing matinee idol Don Lockwood finds true love with his lucky star Cathy, played by a sensational Debbie Reynolds. Co-star Donald O’Connor stops the show with his virtuoso comic display in ‘Make ‘Em Laugh’ and Kelly’s exuberant dance in the pouring rain is one of the most joyous expressions of being alive and in love that the movies have ever created.
Patricia Ward Kelly, Gene Kelly’s wife and biographer, will be on hand to introduce the film and to share several behind-the-scenes stories about the making of the movie.
