Lurach are four young musicians from different areas of Scotland who met whilst taking a traditional music course in Benbecula in the Outer Hebrides. They play both Scottish and Irish music, with a particular focus on Scottish Gaelic and Scots song. Lurach's sound is heavily influenced by their time spent in the Outer Hebrides, an area rich in music and song, as well as the places and experiences they have encountered through music.
