A Trip to Glasgow

More and more people are visiting the city of Glasgow, are excited by it, enthused by the friendliness of the locals and are promising themselves that they will soon be back for more. Renowned for its friendly atmosphere, impressive architecture, fantastic shops, great restaurants, entertainment and splendid galleries and museums - it has plenty to offer.
Glasgow's modern upbeat city centre has fabulous shopping malls including the internationally acclaimed Princes Square and the new Buchanan Galleries. Shopping in Glasgow is an exciting experience second only to London. Tourists to the city can also enjoy many other attractions including the enthralling West End and some beautiful Scottish countryside is within easy reach.
Glasgow is building on its success as European City of Culture 1990 and UK City of Architecture 1999 - according to the Guardian & Observor Travel Awards, 1999 it is showing "the most impressive growth of visitor numbers among all UK Cities". I hope you have a look around my Web site and get a sense of why that is the case.
Arrange a tour
Why not take a trip to Glasgow and enjoy a tour which will be arranged precisely to suit you - combine a range of experiences or focus on your favourite interests. I put together this Web site precisely because I think there is so much to celebrate in this area - and I would love to have the opportunity to show you round and tell you all about it.
Lone travellers and mature women
As I said in my section about why I decided to create this Web site I don't think there are enough Web sites that are geared to the interests of Women. Equally I don't think there are enough opportunities for single travellers - particularly mature women - to go on a trip which offers a completely safe environment, the personal touch and the knowledge of a local resident and is completely responsive to the needs of the traveller. Take advantage of a 'Holiday Friend' (this is not a dating agency) - myself or a local person, who is well known to me, knowledgable about the area and committed to ensuring you make the most of your trip. If you are interested in booking a trip to Glasgow and would like me to help or provide you with someone who can act as a companion and guide I will be delighted to hear from you.
