Caring Christmas Trees Come to Glasgow

Impact Arts has been the first organization in the UK to sign up for a Caring Christmas Trees franchise, and ours will cover the Greater Glasgow area. This is particularly innovative as it is a social franchise, developed by a social enterprise for social enterprises! It is a perfect way for us to reduce our reliance on public grant funding, and we are ambitious about generating funds to invest in our work with vulnerable young people in the city. It is a great idea, and presents a unique way for the general public to contribute to charity at Christmas through something many people will be buying anyway.

Our main way of raising awareness and generating tree sales in this first year will be through a viral email campaign from November 1st, so I hope you will be able to support us with this by passing our emails on any colleagues and friends who may be interested. There will also be national and local media about Caring Christmas Trees during November, as there are now franchises in Paisley, Perth and Dundee, as well as Edinburgh, where it all started with Bethany Christian Trust.

Please get in touch if you would like to know more, or feel you can help in any way with our campaign– we would really appreciate it. And if you want a beautiful tree for your office or home – you know where we are!
