As part of Celtic Connections 2017, the first annual National Whisky Festival of Scotland will be the place to be for whisky fans in Scotland this January.
On Saturday 28th January, slap-bang in the middle of the biggest winter festival on Earth, the world’s whisky enthusiasts will descend upon SWG3 in Glasgow’s west end for 7 hours of drams, masterclasses, talks, food & an astounding programme of live music.
Over 30 exhibitors presenting the best of the national drink and drams from around the world
Full programme of informative, entertaining talks on whisky history, production and culture
Masterclasses (ticketed separately) – private, tutored tastings of your favourite brands and expressions
Fantastic programme of live music curated by Celtic Connections
Local restaurants will be present, providing excellent fare to compliment the whisky
A premium retailer will supply bottle sales over a large range of featured drams
The event will run in two 3.5 hour sessions and is strictly 18+.
