McQueen, GFT
8 – 14 June, 2018
McQueen celebrates the brilliant, unpredictable, designer Alexander McQueen – a radical figure of profound influence in the fashion industry. An exploration of McQueen’s personal and professional world, this documentary is both a dazzling visual album of his ground-breaking collections, and a moving portrayal of the mind behind them. Never-before-seen home movies and a wealth of behind-the-scenes footage is weaved together with deeply personal interviews from family, friends and collaborators, to a fitting high-drama cinematic score from Michael Nyman.
