Fancy taking part in a game of power, skill, endurance, agility and balance; a game which combines the demands of football, rugby, basketball and Gaelic football. The sport is Australian Rules Football, or Aussie Rules as it’s more commonly known.
Glasgow Sharks have teams competing in the National competition and local Glasgow league. Players represent Scotland in tournaments all over Europe, so we believe we offer something for everyone whatever their ability or experience from novice players just looking for fun and the social aspect to those wanting to go all the way to the level of representing their country at one of the quickest growing new Sports in Europe.
We are always looking for male, female and juniors of all abilities to join our growing club. We have Male team competing in the Scottish Australian Rules Football League (SARFL), female teams, mixed teams competing in the newly founded local Glasgow league, the Caledonian Australian Football League (CAFL).
It’s free to try, so why not come down to one of our training sessions & get a warm Sharks welcome to this great sport.
Training Details
We have two training sessions a week.
Tuesday Nights & Sunday Mornings. Free to try.
Tuesdays are split between Glasgow Green & Victoria Park in season.
Tuesday Night – Training starts at 7pm.
During the winter & preseason Training indoors starts at 8pm – 9pm.
Sunday Weekend Training starts10:30am.
Sunday training every week, except during the weeks where there are games.

If you fancy coming to see what all the fuss is about, we have our local Glasgow league, the Caledonian Australian Football League (CAFL) Grand Final game at 12 pm Saturday the 19th of October at Victoria Park, 12 Victoria Park Drive North, Glasgow, G14 9NN

Hi, I’m looking for a rugby club for my son to join, he is 11 years old & I noticed you have training nights. Is it ok to come along & let him try it out?
