18th January 2005

I took a few photographs of the snow blizzard on the way to work this morning - it felt and looked a lot worse in real life - than it looks in the photographs.

16th January 2005

Winter sun on Byres Road.

I haven't had a mystery photograph competition for a while - so here one for you to ponder. Where is this building? It's just a bit of fun - add your answers as a comment at the bottom of the page.

I took a walk along Athole Gardens with my new digital camera - clicking the shutter as I went.

10th January 2005

Pat got me a digital camera for my Christmas - the first digital camera I've owned - so I'm just learning it as I go. The photos in this diary entry were taken with the digital camera.

Parts of the Kibble Palace roof being liberated from the rest of the structure.

The newly refurbished part of the Main Range of Glasshouses in the Botanics is now open.
