Photography: Jim's Glasgow West End Photo Diary: April 2006

Here are some of the photographs I have taken while out and about in the West End of Glasgow - I hope you find them interesting. Click on the images to view larger versions. Some months the images are a mixture of photographs of the West End, photographs of Glasgow and photographs of Scotland.

29th April 2006

Return of the mystery photograph competition. Where did I take this? The inscription on the sandstone says, 'TAK TENT O TIME'. Add your answer as a comment at the foot of the page. Phiten Scotland are offering a necklace and bracelet as a prize (approx. £30 worth) for the first correct answer.

I've been taking photos for Pat's features - here are a few from Felix and Oscar.

And a few photos from the restaurant, Fanny Trollopes in Finnieston.

I'm a regular visitor to Kirklee allotments at the moment as I've been digging and planting seeds on our plot.

Here's me in my car looking forward and then to the left (ehh...). Don't worry, the car was parked when I took these photos.

Sunday 9th April 2006

I'm going through a phase of waking up very early at the moment - not out of choice. It's too damn early to be up and about. On the up-side I can go out for a walk and take a few photos. This morning - after waiting a couple of hours - I went down to Tinderbox for a coffee and to read the Sunday papers. Weekend morning coffee break is a favourite pastime of mine.

If a tenement can be lonely - then this tenement must be the one.

Another favoure activity of mine is a long soak in the bath.
