The Scottish Carnival Arts Consortium brings you Midsummer Carnival 2001 with a theme of creation! At 3pm from the Botanic Gardens, the Carnival will make its colourful way down Byres Rd, into Dumbarton Rd, and up Mansfield St into the Mansfield Park football pitch. Here Best Costumes will be judged by surprise local celebrities! At 4.30pm the Carnival will set off again from Mansfield Park to join the Street Party in Byres Rd.
From 12-7pm all traffic will be suspended All parking will be suspended in both zones from late Saturday evening onwards. To take part in the Scottish Carnival Arts Consortium workshops, phone 334 8374.
