Craft Fair

A chance to see and buy crafts handmade by artists and craft workers from the Loch Lomond area, as well as seeing crafts being produced. Just a few of the crafts being showcased include; gorgeous recycled glassware, encaustic art pictures and cards made from hot wax, wood turned boxes and bowls, colourful stained glass mirrors, original water colours and prints, handmade silver and beaded jewellery, silk and dried flower arrangements, decoupaged pots and planters and silk painted scarves and ties.

All work is produced by members of the Loch Lomond Craft Association.

Guitars Galore 2000 - Youth Guitar Ensemble

Following their highly praised appearance during last year's West End Festival, this Youth Guitar Ensemble from West End Schools (directed by Anne Chaurand) will perform a variety of music, from the Beatles, to music from the Renaissance, and Latin American Tunes.

Solos by talented young players, small ensembles, and a guitar orchestra of over twenty children will contribute to make this concert unusual, exciting and memorable. Refreshments will be provided during the interval.

Crazy for Gershwin - Strictly Songtime

In less than two decades, George Gershwin's musical compositions changed the face of American music. His masterly, innovative, and resilient melodies obscure the boundaries of pop, opera, jazz, Broadway, and classical music. Strictly Songtime present a selection of his works including "Swanee", and "Embracable You", "I got Rhythm", and "Summertime" which illustrate the universal appeal of the greatest popular composer of the century.

Late and Latin with top jazz singer Suzanne and her trio with Brazilian percussionist Carlo.
