Glasgow has always held in high esteem an elite group of top hairdressers and among this exclusive group are Allan Davidson (Tim) and his talented business partner Linzi Reid. Together they have set up their successful 10 Design salon in the West End, after working together 'off and on' for many years. The 10 Design team also includes stylist Tracey, who trained with Toni and Guy in London, and Emma their very able assistant.

Both Linzi and Allan have cut their teeth as stylists in some of the UK's most formidable salons and gained experience have 'working more or less all over the world'. Both have worked with many top stylists, including in some well known establishments in Great Western Road. I remember some years back he once gave me a stylish bob in Duncan Paul's at Kelvinbridge.

Since those days such is his fame that he is one of that group - the likes of Bono, Beyonce, Prince and Posh - that can be referred to by a single name 'Tim' - surely a measure of success? Quite often I will bump into a friend in Byres Road, who complete with radiant smile and flattering coffure announces - 'I've just been to Tim'.
