This screening will be introduced by Barry Dalgliesh, an active member of Friends of the Earth and Frack-off Glasgow who has long campaigned on environmental issues.
This new documentary explores the risk of climate change and resource scarcity through the lens of US national security and global stability. Through unflinching case-study analysis, distinguished admirals, generals and military veterans take us beyond the headlines of the conflict in Syria, to the social unrest of the Arab spring, the rise of radicalised groups like ISIS and the European refugee crisis, laying bare how climate change stresses interact with societal tensions, sparking conflict.
