The Absent One GFT 15 – 21 April, 2016
GFT
A taut noir-tinged tale of twisted secrets.
Friday 15 – Thursday 21 April, 2016
When an ex-cop commits suicide, detectives Mørck (The Killing’s Nikolaj Lie Kaas) and Assad decide to delve into a 20-year-old cold case that involved the double murder of the former officer’s two children. At first failing to turn up the scantest of leads, the duo’s investigations soon take them to one of the country’s most upscale boarding schools. A taught noir-tinged tale of twisted secrets and grim surprises, from director Mikkel Nørgaard (Klovn, The Keeper of Lost Causes).
